The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Collaborative Research Committee (PEM CRC) is a subcommittee of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Emergency Medicine (SOEM).
About the PEM CRC
The PEM CRC provides a framework for multi-center investigation, serving to support and facilitate the development of useful and rigorous collaborative research in PEM. Although the PEM CRC is an unfunded, volunteer effort, it provides an important means of developing high quality protocols and identifying interested co-investigators at the over 40 member sites. The PEM CRC is governed through a Steering Committee, which currently consists of 10 established investigators in various subfields of PEM. The Steering Committee reviews network proposals, oversees the survey competition and serves to mentor junior investigators.
